About

Welcome and thank you for stopping by!

For me, it all began with an interest in photography. I still remember my first camera given to me by my parents when I was 16; a green plastic Savoy. Yeah, I’d never heard of it either. Didn’t matter. The first photo-shoot I recall was trying to take pictures of the Apollo 11 moon landing from the TV screen. The excitement I felt when I would click the shutter, the building anticipation waiting for the film to be developed, and the crushing disappointment when I saw the final product. These pictures couldn’t be mine! This isn’t what I imagined. Photography clearly was not a career-choice option for me.

Time moved on and so did I. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in geology and then a Master’s degree in Water Resources Management. This rekindled my interest in my photography hobby as many work-related photos were necessary to document conditions in the field. The technology got better, I invested in better cameras and viola, after decades, I now consider myself a proficient beginner!

I’ve included a few of my favorite images on this website. I hope you see a few in my Portfolio section that you will enjoy as well. Thank you for visiting. Regards!
