
At times, I’m just not feeling inspired at a particular location. That’s when I’ll try to utilize colors and unusual patterns in a scene to add more of an abstract quality to the image. A long rocky black beach wasn’t doing anything for me, but shooting straight down gave me some shots that produced interesting images. TIP: Don’t forget to look up occasionally or that next shot may be a painkiller as they treat you for that nasty fall.
