Trying to photograph birds is the most frustrating yet fulfilling experience (when you get that shot in-focus) in photography. A great place to practice is in the Galapagos Islands if you can afford to get there. The birds are not afraid of humans, so they just stay still and pose. Another good place to practice is your local bird sanctuary.
